DeLoriea, Lottie J., 101, a Christian went home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2011 in Longwood, FL. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sanlando Springs. She was unable to attend the services because of her blindness but enjoyed listening to other church services on the television. She was born in McDonough, GA and grew up in Fitzgerald, GA. Later she married and moved to Coral Gables, FL where she lived for 27 years. She then moved to the upper Keys in l965 where she resided until 1990 when she moved to Village on the Green in Longwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Lunnie E. Joyner and her husband, Walter DeLoriea. She had six brothers and two sisters, all of which are deceased. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at Pine Forest Cemetery in Mt. Dora at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2011. At 3:00 p.m. there will be a Memorial Service in the Longwood Room at the Village on the Green with Rev. Parrott officiating. In lieu of flowers she requested that please give to the Brede Wilkins Scholarship Fund at the Village on the Green or your favorite charity.
