Lou Sarah Bishop Wilson, 78, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, January 1, 2011, at her home. Born January 31, 1932 in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Buford Gibson and Ora Cook Bishop and wife of the late Allen B. Wilson. She was retired from Belk Hudson after many years of service, was of the Presbyterian faith, and loved music and gardening.
Survivors include a son, Roger Dale Wilson and wife Luan; a daughter, Vicki Lynn Davidson and husband Scott; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Shelby Jean Bishop Jackson who is the last survivor of Buford G. and Ora Cook Bishop; and a brother-in-law, Ricky Tinsley. She was predeceased by two daughters, Sheila Jean Tinsley and Tyria Mechelle Wilson.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, January 3, 2011, at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel. Graveside Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 4, 2011, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Andy Case.
