Mrs. Louise Goodman Bagby, age 82, of McDonough, GA passed away January 19, 2012. Mrs. Bagby was born in Spalding County, the daughter of the late Bessie Mays Goodman and James Thomas Goodman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James F. Bagby and several siblings. Mrs. Bagby enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, working in her vegetable and flower gardens, reading, and raising her goats. She was a member of McDonough First United Methodist Church. Survivors are her children, Karen Dietrich (Bruce) of Tallahassee, Pamela Bagby of McDonough, John Bagby (Pepper) of Locust Grove and Lora Bagby of McDonough; grandchildren, Drew Dietrich, Kurt Dietrich, Amanda Bagby, Devin Bagby and Jonathan Bagby; brothers, Steve Goodman of McDonough and Al Goodman of Jasper; several loving nieces and nephews. A private graveside service for Mrs. Bagby will be Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Darris Baker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening January 23, 2012 from 6 – 8:00 PM. A memorial service for Mrs. Bagby will be Sunday, January 29, 2012 – 2:00 PM at McDonough First United Methodist Church.
