Louise K. Huff, 94, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 at her home. Arrangements have been entrusted with Starks & Menchinger Chapel 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Louise was born in Dowagiac on July 22, 1917 to the late Harry and Coral (Lyons) Claussen. She worked as a Telephone Operator at Michigan Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers both locally and in Lakeland, Florida, where she resided for 15 years.

She was an active member of Lake Gibson United Methodist Church in Lakeland. She became a member of St. Joseph First United Methodist Church, upon returning to Michigan.

Louise is survived by her daughter Sally (Albert) Reschke of Eau Claire; daughter in law Sharon Petrich of Ostego, MI; sister Phyllis Bussler of Three Rivers. MI, Grandson Ken (Robin) Reschke of Baroda, Granddaughter Joy (Perry) Westerfield of Berrien Springs and 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her son, William (Bill) Petrich; brother, Duane Claussen; grandson, Mike Reschke;
