Louise I. “Jeannie” (Dragone) Harrington, 95, Of Watertown passed away on February 20, 2010 at the Belmont Manor Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick E. Harrington.

Born in Woburn, Massachusetts on February 26, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Fargo) Dragone.

Jeannie was the devoted mother of Sr. Barbara Harrington O.P. of Plainville, Michael J. Harrington of Bedford, Stephen D. Harrington of Cambridge, Anne H. Gallagher of Arlington, David F. Harrington of Chelmsford and the late Frederick E. “Rick” Harrrington. She was the cherished "Nani" to Bryan & Michael Gallagher, Kerry Di Martino, Frederick E. “Rick” Harrington, Lindsay, Krista, Timothy & Christopher Harrington and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Theresa Dragone of Somerville and the late Ann Moccia, Julia, Matilda, Rose & Nicholas Dragone, Margaret Petersen and Emma Danizio .

Her funeral will be held from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mount Auburn Street, (Route 16), Watertown on Wednesday February 24, 2010 at 8:00 A.M. Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Luke, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont at 9:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will take place on Tuesday February 23, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Interment to follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown.

Mrs. Harrington was a member of the St. Luke’s Parish Ladies Sodality.
