Louise Marie (Draves) Qualls, age 83, of Russellville, the widow of Lloyd E. Qualls Sr., died Friday, July 31, 2009 at the Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A daughter of the late Bert and Lydia Peterson Draves, she was born February 26, 1926 in Racine, Wisconsin. During World War II she was a spot welder working on tanks, and was a former employee of the Trumann Nursing Home in Trumann, Arkansas. She was a homemaker who loved to garden, sew, knit and crochet, and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Russellville.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bert Draves Jr., Lyle Draves and Kenneth Draves.

Survivors include a son, Lloyd Qualls Jr. and his wife, Dianna, of Russellville; three daughters: Denise Qualls of Russellville; Sheryl Luna and her husband, Michael, of Trumann; and Marsha Bufkin and her husband, David, of Jonesboro; two brothers: Jim Draves of Montgomery, Illinois; and Chuck Draves of North Aurora, Illinois; two sisters: Elaine Crapps of Aurora, Illinois; and Joan Brice of Santa Clarita, California; five grandchildren: Anthony Qualls and his wife, Patti, Steven Qualls, Ashley Luna, Uriah Bufkin and his wife, Elizabeth and Jesse Bufkin and his wife, Jennifer; and five great-grandchildren: Shelby, Emily and Holly Qualls and Samantha and Kendra Bufkin.

Service arrangements are private. Arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service.
