Lowell D. Anderson, 82, of Kansas City Mo, passed away on February 1, 2012. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb 6, at New Hope Church of the Nazarene, 4330 N Oak Tfwy, KCMO; burial in White Chapel Cemetery. Visitation 10 a.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to New Hope Church of the Nazarene or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Lowell was born March 30, 1929 in Clarence, Ia. In May 1951, he was drafted into the Army and served in the Korean Conflict until Feb. 1953. He was married to Virginia LaRue in Oct. 1951 who preceded him in death. He married Bonnie Cobun in 1978. He worked for over 20 years as a maintenance engineer at Liberty Hospital before retiring in 1999.
Lowell was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; four children, Dave, Steve, Racena and Andrea; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
