Lt. Col. William Stuart McKee, USA (Ret.), 77, passed away January 28, 2012, in his home. He was born in Irvington, NJ and retired from the US Army in 1981 after 25 years of service, and was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Louise Knierim McKee. He is survived by two daughters, Karen L. Page and husband Asa of Virginia Beach, VA, and Jane E. Garrell and husband Douglas of Clifton, VA; son, William S. McKee III of Chesapeake, VA; five grandchildren, Brandon and Addison Page of Virginia Beach, VA, Danielle and Rex Garrell of Clifton, VA, and Aubri McKee of Gilbert, AZ. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam, a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Battlefield Golf Course and the AMF Senior Bowling League. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 11 a.m. in St. Thomas Episcopal Church with burial in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Folds of Honor, the American Cancer Society or St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
