Luba L. Pasquini, 85, of Conshohocken, died on October 29, 2009 at Manor Care of King of Prussia after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Stephen N. Pasquini. She was born in Conshohocken on September 8, 1924 to the late Constantine and Sophie (Goncharuk) Pilecki. She was a graduate of Conshohocken High School where she was an honor student and played on the girl's basketball team. "Granny", as she was known by everyone, worked for Bell Telephone Co. as a switchboard operator, and also worked at Town Valet Cleaners in Conshohocken as a clerk for many years, which was owned by her sister Vera Butera. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, crossword puzzles, and was an avid fan of basketball and the Phillies, and a former member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Church. When she was still able, she enjoyed cooking spaghetti and meatball dinners for her family every Sunday. She is survived by 2 children Rosemarie Scanlan of Conshohocken, Maryanne Petrone of King of Prussia, a daughter-in-law Jacqueline (DelBuono) Pasquini of Redlands, CA, 6 grandchildren: Lori and Christopher Scanlan, Michael and Amy Petrone, Stephen and Frank Pasquini, 2 great-grandchildren: Brittney and Branden Maurer, her siblings: Paul Pilecki of Upper Gwynedd, George "Corkey" Pilecki of Poconos, PA, Connie Coscia of Princeton, NJ, Tanya Boardman of Norristown, numerous nieces and nephews, also her constant companion her dog "Willie", who could always be found lying by her side. She was pre-deceased by her son Stephen P. Pasquini, her siblings: Alexander, Walter Pilecki, Mary Todor, Ann Dippolito, Nancy Tryson, Vera Butera. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Eastern PA Chapter, 2 International Plaza, Suite 245, Philadelphia, PA 19113 are appreciated.
