Lucie Jean Green was born January 23, 1942 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late J.B. Parker and Thelma Jacob. She and her family moved to Houston, Texas in 1964 where she remained until her death.
On January 2, 1958, she united in marriage with Clester D. Magee. To this union seven children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. Parker and Thelma Jacob; one brother, Alton Jacob; two sisters, Rose Franklin and Essie Rivers; one daughter, Mae Smith.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters, Lucille Massington & Nirita Edwards, both of Houston; four sons, Cowart Magee (Hinesville, Ga), Daryl (Linda) Magee (Amberg, Germany), Lloyd Magee and Johnny Magee, (both of Houston); three sisters: JoAnn Hollins (Moss Point, Ms.) Eria Pittman (Monticello, Ms.), and Clara (Charlie) Levy (Pascagoula, Ms.)
13 grandchildren: April Magee, Tracie Davis, Samantha Davis, Shemika Magee, Tammy Magee, Amber Magee, Darlene Massington, Darryl Massington, Diane Massington, Victoria Magee, Tiashana Edwards, Lloyd Dotson, Monique Dotson, Lakita Dotson and 13 great grandchildren, 1 great, great children.
She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 4:00 A.M. at her home.
