REED Lucille (Lucy) Reed born September 18, 1931 died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and closest friends on August 22, 2011. Lucy was known for her handmade baby items, monogramming for the community for over 40 years and will be missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Milton Reed, mother Pearl Presley, father Otis James Cooper, brother James Cooper and sister Lottie Jean Cannon. She is survived by one sister, Leatrice (Arthur) Baker and one brother George (Corilla) Cooper, one son Rick (Marcia) Reed and daughter Rita (Buddy) McDonald. Grandchildren, Jason (Tosha) Reed, Ashley (Roy) Miller, Matt Reed, Josh (Emily) McDonald and Justin McDonald. Two Great grandchildren, Avery Reed and Hunter Miller. Nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends including all of her loyal customers throughout the years. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Pine Crest at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 27th with visitation between 10 and 12. Pallbearers will be her five grandsons and Mike Hughes. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery immediately following the service.
