Lucille Dryden Younkin

Younkin, Lucille E. (Dryden), 85, passed away January 16, 2012 in Rose Hill, KS. She was born September 21, 1926 to Earl and Mary (Woods) Kelly in Oklahoma City, OK. Lucille was an active member of Haysville United Methodist Church and later Bethany Methodist Church in Wichita. She enjoyed camping, flower gardening, Atlanta Braves baseball, and her role as secretary for numerous organizations. Lucille loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Verl Dryden; parents; and sister, Velma. Lucille is survived by her husband, Wallace Younkin; children, Russell (Vickie) Dryden and Luetta (Dan) Yoder; step-children, Carolyn Rainwater, Philip (Debbie) Younkin; granddaughter, Amber Dryden; grandson, Garrett Dryden; 5 step-grandchildren; and 8 step-great-grandchildren. Visitation: Thursday from 5 - 7 pm at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral: 1 pm, Friday at Bethany Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Rivercross Hospice, Bethany Methodist Church or Haysville United Methodist Church.
