Lucille Long Miller, 96, of Argos, Indiana, passed away peacefully, at home of natural causes, on January 28, 2012. She was the daughter of Charles and Ollie (Miller) Bower. She was born in La Paz, Indiana, on March 27, 1915. She was raised in South Bend, Indiana, moving there as a child. Lucille married Modest Long, of Plymouth, Indiana, who was decorating contractor, in 1936. She worked, with her husband, as a secretary and bookkeeper until his retirement and his eventual passing in 1985. In 1988 she married Charles B. Miller. Charles passed away in 2009. Lucille is survived by her step-daughters, Linda Miller of California, Diana Miller of Maine, Janet Luce' of Argos, (with whom she resided); her step-son, Mark Miller of California. She had no children of her own. Also surviving is her brother, Charles L. Bower of Plymouth; her sisters, Norma Young of Plymouth and Shirley Mangnuson of Plymouth; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Bower; and her sisters, Irene Baker and Mary Jane Brumfiel, all of Plymouth. Lucille had been a member of the Women of the Moose #1355, Plymouth, since 1969.
