Lucille Mae (Samuelson) Walchli, 82, died Sunday, December 25, 2011, with her family by her side in Tampa Florida.

She was born on October 15, 1929 in Warren Pennsylvania, to Carl Elmer and Violet Margaret (Gilmore) Samuelson. She graduated from Warren High School in 1948. Lucille was an avid ice skater, accomplished musician, sang in the church choir and taught Sunday school. She married her beloved husband, Randall Bruce Walchli, of 58 years on October 24, 1953 in Warren, Pennsylvania and shortly after moved to Arlington, Virginia. Lucille was a devoted Christian and a member of the United Methodist Church. Lucille and Randall went on to have seven loving children whom they raised and instilled with strong Christian values, a love of God and Family. The family moved to Tampa, Florida in December 1969. Lucille and her family loved the outdoors and enjoyed many camping adventures over the years. She was known for her laughter, sense of humor, good cooking, and love of children.

She is survived by her loving husband, Randall Bruce Walchli of Tampa, Florida; Her seven children: Deborah Ann (Jerry) Rickles of Citra, Florida; Karen Lorraine (Kevin) Robertson of Trafalgar, Indiana; Stephen Bruce (Lorraine) Walchli of Palm Bay, Florida; Kevin Dale Walchli of Ladson, South Carolina; Douglas James Walchli of St. Petersburg, Florida; Kathleen Sue Kirkland (James) Howard; Cinda Leigh (Anna) Walchli of Alabaster, Alabama. 13 grandchildren; Lisa, Brian, Tracy, Stacey, Robert, Matthew, Eric, Michele, Aaron, Jonathan, Brittany, Emma and Carter; 4 great grandsons; Ethan, Luke, Matthew and Michael. She is also survived by her 2 sisters; Geraldine Margaret (Samuelson) Corbett, Rachel Louise (Samuelson) Jones and 1 brother; Reverend Charles Gilmore Samuelson and many nieces and nephews.
