Lucille H. Walton, 93, of Little Rock, died July 22, 2011 in Hot Springs. Born in Lamar, Arkansas October 29, 1917, she was the daughter of Charles Robert and Mary King Hughes. She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and had retired from Westinghouse after 26 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Richard A. Walton, and a grandson, Michael R. Walton. Survivors are a daughter, Mary Beth Jones and her husband, Doug, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, son, Richard A. Walton, Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Benton, Arkansas, 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24th in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, (501) 565-1067 with Rev. Calvin Mitchell and Dr. Candace Barron, officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. this evening (Saturday), at the funeral home.
