Lucy Virginia Delp Flinkingshelt, 86, of 105 Colombard Ct., passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012.

Born July 1, 1925 in Wytheville, VA, she was the daughter of the late John Samuel and Cora Simms Delp.

She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was predeceased by her husband, James Bruce Flinkingshelt , Sr.

Surviving is her daughter, Diane Roubaud and her husband, Douglas of Mauldin, SC; two sons, James Bruce Flinkingshelt, Jr. and his wife, Emmy of Lyman, SC and Wayne Morris Flinkingshelt and his wife, Mae of Taylors, SC; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2012 at The Mackey Mortuary Pastor Rit Varriale officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Upstate SC Chapter-Greenville Branch, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville, SC 29601 or to Community Chapel, 1636 Bethel Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29681
