Luther Emerson Gregory , 85, of Malvern passed away in the presence of his loving family, Saturday, April 18, 2009 at a local hospital in Hot Springs , Arkansas . He was born January 31, 1924 to the late Luther W. Gregory Mary Ann McCullar Gregory in Nettleton , Arkansas . Luther was a member of the First Baptist Church of Malvern and a long time member of Painters Union.

He was preceded in death by: His wife Lois (Jeri) Gregory, 1 Son Roger Gregory, 5 Sisters, 2 Brothers and 1 granddaughter.

He is Survived by:

1 Son:

Sonny & wife Pam Gregory of Poyen , AR.

1 Daughter:

Shelia & husband Charles Davidson of Malvern , AR

2 Brothers:

James A Gregory of St James , MO.

L. W. Gregory of Poplar Bluff , MO.

1 Sister:

Mary E. Dudley of O'Fallon, MO.

7 Grandchildren:

Charlie Ramey,Crystal Vann, Mana Poindexter, Candy Gregory, Kirstie Wibbelsman, Taleese Gregory and Crystal Heller.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Verne Wickliffe officiating.

Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday April 21, 2009.

Interment will be in the Rockport Memorial Garden Cemetery .

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Lung Association of Arkansas 211 Natural Resources DR. Little Rock, Arkansas 72205-9869.

Pallbearers: Kinney Black, Rick Harper, Derrick Johnson, Steve Mitchell, Clark Mosby, Greg Mosby. Honorary Pallbearers : Friends in the McDonalds Coffee Group.

Family will be at the home of Charlie Ramey @ 325 Smith Loop, Malvern , AR.
