Lyle "Terry" Lenzmeier, 71, of Gladstone, MO went home to be with his Lord on Dec. 2, 2011. He was surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6th at 7:00 pm at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5-7 pm, prior to the service.
Terry was born March 26, 1940 in Dwight, ND to John & Marie Lenzmeier. He graduated from Wahpeton High School and Science School. He was co-owner of Clay Platte Office Supply and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
Terry loved sports and coached both basketball and baseball. He coached "his boys" to the Mickey Mantle World Series in Memphis TN in 1983. Terry liked working on home projects and attending all the grandsons sporting activities.
He is survived by his wife Gayle, daughter Terri (Mitch) Walker, son Bob (Mitzi) Lenzmeier, three grandsons Austin Lenzmeier and Tyler & Ryan Walker, he loved them dearly; three brothers and five sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents John & Marie Lenzmeier, six brothers and two sisters.
