Mrs. Lynda L. Johnson, 61, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, died Friday October 8, 2010 at La Porte Hospital. She was born December 12, 1948 in Michigan City, Indiana, the daughter of Orville Sutherlin and Ruby (McGinnis) Sutherlin. Lynda was Co-owner of A&L Painting and Decorating. On October 22, 1993, in Rolling Prairie, IN, she married Aaron Johnson who survives. She is also survived by her mother - Ruby Sutherlin of Michigan City; 2 sons - Robert Archer, Scott Vanderpool of South Bend; daughter - Becky Sue (Tim) Gulstrom of Michigan City; 6 Grandchildren - Nicholas Archer, Molly Archer, Joseph Archer, Scott Gulstrom, Ashley Gulstrom, Rachel Gulstrom; 2 brothers - Thomas Sutherlin of Hebron, IN, James Sutherlin of Michigan City; sister - Judith (Ken) Radakovits of Chicago, IL; 3 sisters-in-law - Rosann Bella of South Bend, Diane Oberholtzer of Rolling Prairie, and Jae Haneline of La Porte. Lynda was preceded in death by her father and daughter, Michelle Vanderpool. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Ind. Cremation will take place.
