Lyndsey Joy Clark, of Melrose, passed away suddenly at 26 years old, on April 17, 2011 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Lyndsey Joy was born in Melrose on August 13, 1984, one of three children of Lauren (Blasi) Clark and Briggs Clark. Lyndsey Joy graduated from Melrose High School with the Class of 2002. She was known for her free spirit and sense of adventure. Lyndsey Joy was a fun loving person, who was always making her family laugh. She enjoyed watching the Spanish soap operas, Telenovelas. One of her famous quotes was “I’m not rude, I am direct.” She will be lovingly remembered as the entertainer of the family.

Lyndsey Joy was the beloved daughter of Lauren (Blasi) Clark of Revere and Briggs Clark of Hampton, NH. Loving mother of Jaelina Joy Slaughter and Michael Ronald Slaughter both of Revere. Dear sister of Jonathan B. Clark of Melrose and Devra J. (Clark) Najera of New York City. Cherished granddaughter of Bernice and Paul Blasi of Winthrop and Dixie Clark of Melrose. Loving great granddaughter of Sarah and William Taylor of Melrose. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose, on Friday, April 22 at 9:00AM followed by her Funeral Blessing at The Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St., Melrose at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8PM. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. Gifts in her memory may be made to CAB Health & Recovery Services, 111 Middleton Rd. Danvers, MA 01923.
