On January 23, 2011 our dear daughter, mother, and sister passed away unexpectedly. She was born on October 4th, 1976 in Salt Lake City, UT, but spent most of her youth in North Ogden and Fruit Heights, UT.
Lynette loved to crochet and read Danielle Steele novels. She looked forward to family gatherings and spending time with her daughter. She was a friend to everyone she met and cared deeply for animals, especially dogs. She will always be remembered for her good heart, “sweet tooth,” and beautiful smile.
She will be missed by her parents, Wade and Terri Lynne Smith; daughter, Shaylynn; brothers, Jeff (Martha) and David Smith; sister, Rebecca (Luis) Ballesteros; and nephews, Pedro and Fransisco.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 27 at the Liberty LDS Wardhouse, 67 W. Clay Park Dr, Murray UT. A viewing will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary, and also one hour prior to services. Online condolences may be left at www.memorialutah.com.
