Lynn Russell

Lynn Jackson Russell moved to his heavenly home on March 8, 2010 to be with God and those who had left before him.
Lynn was born September 10, 1924 in Salt Lake City to Bert and Clorah Russell.
He graduated from East High School, and at age 17 he joined the Naval Air Force flying off carriers in World War 2.
He was honorably discharged from the service and took up Carpentry like his father.
He eventually was given the job as construction Superintendent building Skaggs Alpha Beta stores throughout Utah, Texas and California.
After his retirement at age 65, he continued building until Parkinson's disease made it impossible to continue.
He fought a long and valiant battle with this disease with character and humor.
Lynn was survived by his loving patient wife of 60 years Dorothy, Son Stewart, Grandchildren Amber Russell, Carson Russell and his wife Aubrey and two great grand children Alyssa Chinn and Jade Chinn. Will miss his presence, and look forward to being together again with him.

Memorial services will be held at the Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S. Highland Drive on March 15, 2010 from 2-4 pm with interment at Holiday Memorial Park.
