Mrs. M. Virginia Vassalotti

M. Virginia (Sencabaugh) Vassalotti, Of Cambridge, formerly of Newton passed away peacefully at her home August 21, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She was 79 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Vassalotti.

She was the devoted mother of Louis J. Vassalotti Jr. & his wife Donna of Lewes, DE; Paul Vassalotti & his wife Mary of Cross Plains, WI; Lynne Vassalotti of Hampton, NH; and Mark Vassalotti & his wife Nancy of Stamford, CT. Loving grandmother of John Vassalotti of Philadelphia, PA; Laura Paller & her husband Andrew of Hockessin, DE; Anne Marie Vassalotti of Cross Plains, WI; and Stephen Vassalotti of Cross Plains, WI. Sister of Carolyn Maienza of Lexington, MA and Robert Sencabaugh & his wife June of Cambridge, MA.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Story Chapel of Mount Auburn Cemetery on Tuesday August 25, 2009 at 10 A.M. with Rev. Larry Wimmer officiating. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours in the Stanton Funeral Home 786 Mt. Auburn St. (RT16) Watertown on Monday 4- 8 P.M.
