Mable Emma Dorothea Becker, daughter of William and Augusta (Beyer) Becker, was born August 15, 1911 in Horton Township in Stevens County, Minnesota. She was baptized on September 17, 1911 at Fairfield Lutheran Church by Pastor H. Appel and confirmed on October 18, 1925 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Synnes Township by Pastor C. W. Ristow. Mable grew up in Synnes Township, where she attended country school thru the 8th grade. Mable lived in the Alberta and Morris area all of her life, where she did housework and worked in various restaurants. On March 26, 1942, she was united in marriage to Roland Henry William Schulz at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Morris by Pastor Duehlmeier. Mable and Roland continued to live in the Morris area, where they raised their daughters. Roland died on December 16, 1975. Mable has continued to live in Morris since that time and in 2005 she moved to the West Wind Village.
Mable was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Morris, where she served on the women's guild. She enjoyed all the time she spent with her family and friends.
Mable died on Friday, February 23, 2007 at West Wind Village in Morris, having lived to reach the age of 95 years.
She is survived by her two daughters: Sherry (Rev. Robert) Lawson, Sr of Princeton and Julie (John) Festerling of Minneota; five grandchildren: Rev. Robert (Kristin) Lawson, Jr, Heather (Aaron) Olmanson, Melissa (Timothy) Berg, Paul Festerling and Angela Festerling and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three sisters: Inga Kron, Madrid Heins and Harriet Riley and one brother: Harry Becker.
Pallbearers for the service are: Arden Heins, Myron Riley, William Becker, Loren Becker, David Schulz and Darold Schulz. Reverend Robert A. Lawson Jr. will serve as organist for the service. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
