Mac was the funniest, most generous person my husband and I knew. We met Mac and his wife in Church and after Mac's wife passed away, we became very close. Mac was a "giver" not a taker...would not let anyone do for him....he had to be the "giver". He was a sweet, sweet man and I know that now that he is in Heaven with my Jack, they are probably still discussing politics *bushy-Boy", etc. My he Rest in Peace.

I even found the old stop sign post going to the landfill when I was rototilling! There was lots of grass to mow and parking lots to blow. But the Salas house was my favorite with all the trees and roses. Mrs. Salas was always watering, she liked the green!

I worked at Samon's Plumbing & Heathing on Menaul for 22 years. Not long after I started working there I met Mac. Mac and I would park across the street from Samon's on early mornings before I went in to work and just talk. I very much enjoyed talking to him and I admired his generosity. For example, once in a while, he would bring me chicharrones or chili.

Mac, you may be gone but your memories will always be there. May you rest in peace and be joined again with your wife.
