Malcolm R. Stallings, Sr., 80, of Owensboro, Ky., died Sunday, July 3, 2011, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born September 12, 1930 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Sylvester Stallings and Elsie Maulding. Malcolm was a member of First Avenue Western Methodist Church in Evansville. He was the owner and operator of Owensboro Window Cleaning and was a US Navy Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, UK Basketball, and watching his children's ballgames. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Stallings, on November 4, 2006 and also by two sisters, Beverly Spond and Lorita Moore; a brother Syl Stallings; his stepfather, Carl Maulding and a daughter-in-law, Jenny Stallings. He is survived by a daughter, Gloria Jean Croshaw and her husband, Steve of Sultan, WA; four sons, Mac Stallings Jr. and his wife, Diana, Billy Stallings, Ron Stallings and Chris Stallings all of Owensboro; eight grandchildren, Trent Stallings, Max Stallings, III and his wife, Kim, Joie Lynn Logsdon and her husband, Chris, Boyd Stallings and his wife, Regina, Angel Cornelius, Carol Stallings and her husband, Jason, Stacy YonKaitis and her husband, Chris and Chance Croshaw and his wife, Deanne; twenty great grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Mazza of New Jersey and his dog, Tyson Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday until service time at the funeral home.
