I met Malvena when Helen brought her to the People for Others Luncheons. She always seemed to enjoy these luncheons, even when she was on oxygen. Helen always was so cheerful and encouraged her to eat. I appreciated meeting Helen's Mom, since I had been friends with the whole family since the early eighties, when the children were at St. Cornelius school. The kids all were outstanding students, which we admired.
