Manuel Salazar Palos

Born August 28, 1946 of Mesquite, TX passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 31, 2012. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 years, Gloria Palos. His father Manuel, Sr.; and brothers, Arturo and Raul, also precedes him in death. Manuel is survived by his mother, Maria; sisters, Elida Orta, Martha Herrera, Maria Palos, Bertha Cervantes and husband Jose, Yolanda Tovias and husband Guadalupe, and Angelica Palos; brothers Humberto and wife Mary, Fernando and wife Sylvia, and Ricardo; sons Manuel, Jr. and wife Kylie, Abel and wife Merissa; and grandchildren, Matthew, Isabella, and Caleb, all of whom loved and adored their 'Abuelo.' His grandchildren and his family were his life, and he enjoyed every moment spent with them. He enjoyed cooking for his family, watching baseball, and attended church every Sunday. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 3, 2012. Funeral service will be held Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Laurel Land Memorial Chapel, Dallas, TX.
