Jennifer, my deepest sympathies and condolences to you on the passing of your mother. I knew your Mom through the Gingerwood site. Both of us started blogging at the same time. Neither one of us knew what we were doing, but eventually got it figured out. She was always very generous in her praise and appreciation of other's artwork. We will miss her in our little on-line community.

Mom, I am glad that we had two more years to get to know one another and to iron a few things out. I am glad that I was there that early Thursday morning, and I am glad to know that my presence in the house brought you some peace. You were so excited to have me move in, I was rather stunned.
In many ways you and I had the typical mother-daughter relationship. I just ask that you forgive me for any cranky responses and anger on my part toward you.
You made wonderful things: everything from stuffed animals, to jewelry, special photo album, and stamping and altered art. You were dealt a lousy hand but you created great beauty in your life and in the life of others. Thank you for that.
Love,
Jennifer Robin

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's death. I met your Mother several years ago when she came to my house for stamping. We also were online friends. She frequently reminded me of how much she missed your Dad. My deepest sympathies.
