Marcia Marie Pleasant age 55 of Dallas, Texas passed away May 5, 2011. Born to Samuel and Fannie Pleasant on April 27, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a graduate of Justin F. Kimball High School and attended Jarvis Christian College. She became a member of Elizabeth Chapel CME Church at a very young age and later a member of Romine Christian Church and presently a member of Warren Avenue Christian Church.

Marcia was called home on Thursday, May 5, 2011. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother, Fannie Loftis; four sons, Joseph Pleasant, Christopher Pleasant, Casey Pleasant and Julius Young; two daughters, Eboni Pleasant and Carolyn Benjamin; six granddaughters, Anika, Alyssa, Tasheba, Joycelyn, Angela and Tamryn; two grandsons, Tremeil and Raja; one sister, Lori; five brothers, Dennis, Steve, Dwight, Dwayne and Marquis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
