Marcia R. ( Hallett ) Stocking, 69, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Canterbury Nursing & Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne. Born in Detroit, MI, Marcia worked as an Engineering Support Specialist with Tokheim Corp. for 12 years, retiring in 2001. She was a member of Crescent Ave United Methodist Church, a volunteer in the church office, Dare to Care Ministry and at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. She enjoyed knitting, but her greatest passion was being a loving Mother and Grandmother. Marcia was very kind and supportive to her many friends and will be deeply missed. Surviving are her sons, Brian (Ilva) Hallett of Lexington, KY, Brendan (Jennifer) Hallett of La Grange, IL, Rob (Christine) Hallett of Canton, GA; brother, Charles (Paulette) Stocking of Walla Walla, WA; sisters, Mary (Gene) O'Hara and Margaret (Brad) Stocking both of Seattle, WA, Janet (Dan) Fitzsimons of Turner, ME; grandchildren, Aidan, Seth, Caroline, Remy and Avery; special friends, Carol and Jack Hernandez. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Rosemary Stocking; sister, Lynn. Service is 11:30 am Saturday at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with Rev. James Evans Jr. officiating. Visitation is Friday 6 to 9pm at the funeral home.
