Margaret Carter Delhi Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Carter, 95 of Delhi will be held at 10AM Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Dunn Church of God with Rev. Jeremy Mew officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi. Burial will be in McKnight Cemetery in Holly Ridge, LA. Mrs. Carter was a longtime resident of Delhi and is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Winstead and Retta Hicks Winstead, her husband Ernest V. Carter Sr. and a son Thomas Earl Carter. She is survived by three sons, Sonny Carter and wife Valerie and Jerry CArter and wife Debra all of Delhi and Jimmie Carter and wife Lovie of Grenada, MS; two daughters Joyce L. Moore of Delhi and Doris Turner of Houston, TX; a daughter-in-law Linda Carter of Dunn; a sister-in-law Lucille Winstead of Holly Ridge, LA; special friend and companion Frances Stevens of Delhi; 13 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dee Winstead, Tommy Winstead, Danny Williams, Billy Ray Worten, Chester Clyde Worten, Jamie Winstead, Kenny Bailes and Paul Fulford.
