Margaret Catherine Brothers age 94 of Little Rock, Arkansas died Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 17, 1917 in Adona, Arkansas to her late parents Virgil Whitfield and Wilma Moore Whitfield. One of Margaret's greatest hobbies was cooking. Anytime there was family or friends over, she always cooked a huge dinner or as the family would say, "a huge spread". Margaret worked at Brothers DX Service Station at 11th and Bond Streets in Little Rock until her retirement and was a lifetime member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. Because of her Great Faith, she has now received the Largest Crown of Glory from her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was truly a blessing to all who have ever known her.

Survivors include her daughter Darlene Lawhon (Jimmy) of Little Rock, AR; sister Leola Dove of Benton, AR; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Ray "Buddy" Brothers, two sons, Ray and Jerry Brothers, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 661-9111 with Brother Odis Chapman and Brother Charles Chamblee both officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. A visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
