Margaret Colias March 22, 2019-September 17, 2011 Margaret Colias passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 22, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Waco with Father Theodore Tsitsilianos officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., and the Trisagion Service will be at 7:00 p.m. , Wednesday, September 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Margaret was born on March 22, 1920 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She moved to Waco upon her marriage in 1951 to Michael Colias. Margaret had two daughters and built her home in Waco. She will be remembered for her generous spirit and devotion to her church and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Olympia Costakis; her beloved husband Mike; and her brother, Tommy Costakis. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Colias of Houston, Texas; her daughter, Tina Angelo and husband, Gus Angelo, of Houston, Texas; and her grandchildren, Christina Kelly, Michael Kelly, Alexis Angelo and Jimmy Angelo. Also surviving are her cousin, Charles Cardasis and nieces and nephews, Pat Antoniou, Evelyn Katsigris, Nikos Colias, John G. Colias, Vivian Jones, Nick V. Colias, John V. Colias, Susan Costakis Boone, Patricia Sermas, Angelo Sermas, Katherine Dameris, Paul Sermas and Gus Sermas. Margaret's godchildren are Susan Costakis Boone, Nikos Colias, Johnny Giotes, John V. Colias, Margaret Booras, and Christina Melissaris Elia. Pallbearers are Michael Kelly, Jimmy Angelo, Johnny Giotes, John V. Colias, George Antoniou, and Angelo Sermas.
