Margaret "Mitzi" L. Yamrock, 91, of Harmony Township, NJ, formerly of Hope Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at home with her loving family at her side. Born in New Haven, CT on July 25, 1919, she was the daughter of the late George and Pauline Tonjes Kain. Mitzi had lived in Hope Township for over 57 years before moving to Harmony Twp.. Mitzi had been a caterer before retiring. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hope, NJ. Mitzi also was an avid bowler. She was a member of the Harmony Township Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She especially enjoyed the Birthday Girls Club. She was predeceased by her two husbands, Edward Yamrock, who died in 1985 and Paul Woomer, who died in 1952. Two brothers, George and Frederick Kain had died earlier. Surviving are a son, Michael Yamrock and his wife Diane of Harmony Township; three daughters, Pauline LaBar and her husband Charles of Stroudsburg, PA, Beverly Deremer and her husband Charles of Hazen, NJ and Judith Smires and her husband Glenn of Elisdale, NJ; a sister, Klare Heavens of Woodbridge, CT; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and14 great-great-grandchildren.
