Margaret Louise Payne-Isaacs passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, May 28, 2011. She was born on April 26, 1949 in Brazil, Indiana to Kenneth Earl Payne and Doris Evelyn Burnett-Payne. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Victor Isaacs, and four children, Sondra Groves-Rockwell and her two children Paige and Parker; Angela Groves-Reynolds and her husband Kyle and their three children Taylor, Travis and Tristin; Nicholas Isaacs and his wife Renee and their two children William and Katherine; and Stephanie Isaacs-Jackson and her husband Kelton and their son Kendall. She is the eldest of five children and is survived by siblings Janet Payne-Korr, James Payne, Kenneth Payne, and Susan Kay Payne-Hanley. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Margaret graduated from Monrovia High School, in Monrovia, Indiana on May 26, 1968. She retired from International Paper in 2005, after 25 years of dedicated service in sales. To know Margaret was to know the love she had for her family. Not only was she beautiful inside and out but she was funny, charming and loved to laugh. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Margaret surrounded herself with her children and grandchildren and beloved dogs, dachshunds Rocky and Isabella. Margaret was caring and loving and always thought of others ahead of herself. If given the choice to go on a lavish vacation or spend a week hosting her children and grandchildren, she would choose her family every time. Margaret relished her role as mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spoiling every new grandchild as though he or she was her first. Her devotion, warmth and quick smile put everyone at ease, and she was a source of great comfort to her family. She and her husband Victor often discussed their retirement plans, and were looking forward to traveling together and visiting each of their children. She was taken from us too early and she will be missed immensely. The viewing will be held at Metrocrest Funeral Home at 1810 North Perry Road in Carrollton on Thursday, June 2nd from 5pm-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 3rd at Valley View Christian Church, 17601 Marsh Lane, Dallas at 2:00 pm.
