Margaret Peele Hatcher, 64, of the 500 block of Plantation Drive, Chesapeake, VA, and formerly of Kenly, NC, passed away July 3, 2010, in Chesapeake, VA. A native of Johnston County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Carthel and Nettie Peele; and was predeceased by three brothers, Frank, Harold and James Peele. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Billy F. Hatcher; her son, Jeff S. Hatcher and wife Susan of Chesapeake, VA; two sisters, Betty Lou Davis and Joyce Moore, both of Kenly, NC; a brother, Jimmy Peele of Grantsboro, NC; and two grandchildren, Ryan Hatcher and Lexie Hatcher, both of Chesapeake, VA. There will be no service, however the family will greet friends on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Disabled American Veterans. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.snellingsfuneralhome.com.
