Margaret W Smith, 87, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 in Fort Wayne. Born in Nashville, MI, Margaret worked as a Executive Secretary with G T E and Magnovox and also was a Realtor for Century 21/ Valley Grove for 8 years. She was a member of Rebecca's, Roanoke Chapter. Surviving are her daughters, Connie (Bill Knight) Michael of South Whitley IN, Karen (John) Flathau of Grabill IN, Kathy (Dale) Kappelmann of Fort Wayne, IN. son, Doug Smith of Fort Wayne, step sons, Gene (Diane) Smith of Woodburn, IN. and Steve (Pam) Smith of Fort Wayne. step daughter, Ruth Ann Birch of Huntertown IN. 21 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and a brother, Boyd "Bud" (Phyllis) Olsen of Troy, MI. Margaret was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Lester, 2nd husband, Don Smith, parents, Boyd and Lu Elda Olsen, and grand daughter, Denice Cook. Funeral Service is 2:00 pm, February 3, 2012 at - D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
