Margarett M. Lee, 92, of the 100 block of Greensboro St. Portsmouth, VA, passed away in Kill Devil Hills, NC on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, in her residence. Born in Portsmouth, VA, she was the widow of James W. Lee. She was a lifetime member of Broad Street United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star and The XYZ Band. Margarett is survived by her son, Thomas M. Lee, Sr. (Brenda) of Kill Devil Hills, NC; three grandchildren, Sheri Marie Henley (David), Thomas M. Lee, Jr. (Sandra) and Jo Ellen Kiourtzidious (Bill), all of the Outer Banks; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, in Olive Branch Cemetery by Pastor John Rowland. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is in charge.
