Mrs. Margarette Wright Crowe, age 81, of Locust Grove, GA passed away December 8, 2011. She was known to her family and friends as Boody and Granny. She was born in Warwick, VA the daughter of the late Carrington Floyd Wright and Virginia Sledge Wright. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Malcom Crowe and several siblings. Mrs. Crowe enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, painting, traveling to Florida, fishing, and dining out. Survivors are her children, James Crowe Jr. (Melanie) of Social Circle and Anne Proper (Steve) of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Sonya Smith, Lance Crowe, April Barrett, Ashley Proper, Alan Proper, and Andrea Motes; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Morillo of Locust Grove and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mrs. Crowe will be Sunday, December 11, 2011 – 3:00 PM at Hillandale Cemetery in Lithonia, GA.
