Education: earned a BA from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY; earned her Master's degree after attending various universities in the state of Maryland
Employment: was the former Director of St. Anne's School; also taught music in Ohio, Kentucky and Maryland
Interesting achievements: trained Boykin Spaniels and competed them in field trial competitions
Memberships: St. Anne's Church; Phi Mu Sorority
Hobbies: golfing; sailing; traveling; cruising with her husband on their boat; playing the piano
Husband: Robert E. Haux, whom she married in 1947
Daughters: Sandra Marie of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Mary Louise, Roberta Ann and Jul Lee, all of Annapolis

Great-grandchildren: 2
Memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 27 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis
Services and interment will be private for the family
