Margie Hight, 69, of Lubbock passed away Friday, November 26, 2010. She was born September 15, 1941 to Louis and Sarah Verhayden in Alexandria, Louisiana. She married Douglas Hight in 1960, married for 50 years. She worked for the Lubbock Appraisal District for 20 years.

Margie is survived by her husband, Douglas Hight; 1 daughter, Evelyn Johnston; 2 sisters; Pauline Hines of Shreveport, LA and Naomi Belgard Deville, LA; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Kirby of Portales, NM and Stephanie Kirby of Roswell, N. M.

Cremation will be under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
