Margot Krel died Monday March 8, 2010 in Boynton Beach, FL at the age of 79. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on February 17, 1931 to Sigmund and Mathilda Kaufman. After surviving the Holocaust she met Melvin Krel in Paris, France and was married on July 12, 1951. They moved to Fort Wayne, IN later that year and were married for 58 years. She is survived by her husband Melvin Krel of Boynton Beach, FL; son Silvan Krel of Fort Wayne; daughter Rossya (Howard) Klebanow of Solon, OH; grandchildren Marcie and Jared Klebanow. Funeral service is 3pm Wednesday at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, with Rabbi Mitch Kornspan officiating. Burial in the Jewish Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
