Marguerite Kehl Pickering, 72, of New Orleans passed away, January 22, 2012 at home.
She was a native of New Olreans and lived in Algiers. Mrs. Pickering was a graduate of St. Martin's High School in Metairie and attended LSU, pledging Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She was a past president of the Daughters of the American Revolution in New Orleans. Mrs. Pickering loved taking care of her family and working in civic organizations along with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Earl Pickering of New Orleans and three children; son K. Eric Pickering and wife Michelle, daughter Pamela Cunningham and husband Matthew of Houston, TX, and daughter Aimee McClain and her husband Kevin of Lake Charles; eight grandchildren Alexis and Farris Cunningham, McKenzie, Madeline and William McClain, and Lillian, Dixon and Alexander Pickering; one sister, Kathleen Waltman and one brother, Burt Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Katherine Kehl.
In lieu of flowers donations to Christian Health Ministries Foundation, 400 Poydras St., Suite 2525, NOLA 70130 preferred.
