Life Reflections of Marguerite Collins (Maggie-Mike) McMurtry was born January 5, 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the oldest of 3 children. She leaves behind a sister and brother, Lucille Latimore and Eugene Collins in death. Marguerite was educated at St. Rita, a private Catholic boarding school. She went there from 1st-12th grade and received her high school diploma. After graduating she met and was united in holy matrimony to Ellis McMurtry, Sr. and from that union they had 3 loving sons. Marguerite worked for 35 years at Rindeer's Drugs as a Pharmacy Technician. She was also a wonderful homemaker and cook. Marguerite passed away on January 17, 2012. Marguerite leaves behind her three sons, Ellis McMurtry, Jr., Reginald McMurtry, and Michael McMurtry. Her 7 grandchildren, Sharon and Markl Johnson, Leslie and Brian Givance, Terry and Danny Dumaine, Tracy McMurtry, Lisa McMurtry. She had 7 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alexis, Blake Johnson, Ashley Givance, Jasmine, Brianna, and Miles Dumaine; also a host of nieces and nephews, Brenda, Faye, Eugene Tipton, Kevin, Kerri, and Keith Collins; a host of great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends. The family would like to thank you for your prayers and support. We thank God for giving us our loving Mother. When you met her you would be left with lasting memory of her.
