Maria Luisa was my mothers whom I love very much she was a remarkable person, loving kind, with a heart of gold her family was the most precious treasure she had, she was so proud of her daughters and grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, an exceptional mother and grandmother. Her son in laws were her sons the ones she never had and he love them dearly.

She was a great friend, she was so good that one day her aunt told her please say a bad word so you can maybe stay in heaven. I don't think I was able to get even close to the wonderful person he was.

She taught her daughters and grandchildren the meaning of family, love, respect and honor. She was a guarding angel for us

For me her loss is something I will never recover from I will need her always. I know she is now in a better place that she is now reunited with the love of her life our father and from there they
will look over on us

Maria Luisa Lopez or La Nina as she was fondly called by her family growing up but to me and my sister she is Mami. She was born in Habana, Cuba on 11/6/1934. She was born to mother Caridad Guerra and Gabriel Lopez. She moved to US in 1967. She was happily married to my wonderful father-Elio Lopez for 36 years until he passed away in 1990. A wonderful woman. Lived her life caring for her children and grandchildren. An

Her greatest happiness and pride were her 4 daughters-Alina, Elda, Teresa and Anna. Although she had no sons of her own, those she acquired as sons-in-law-Paul, Luis and Guillermo meant more to her than she could ever convey. Her granchildren-Aimee, Lissette, Miguel, Melissa, Elio and Enrique were her jewels. Mami lived happy content in the knowledge that she lived for them. She earned her place in heaven. Heaven is rejoicing with her presence while on earth we are saddened by her absence. Mami I love you so much. God keep you in his tender care.
