Marian LeBlanc Schwartz passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Edmond V. Schwartz. Mother of Gary Leonard (Judy) and Kent Leonard (the late, Suzette). Daughter of the late Edmond J. LeBlanc and Albertine Guidry LeBlanc. Sister of the late Rosemary LaBauve, Elmedia LeBlanc, Edmond LeBlanc, Jr., Lester LeBlanc, Clarence LeBlanc, Richard LeBlanc and Raymond LeBlanc. Grandmother of Heather Leonard (Jeremy), Heidi Samuelson (Rick), Mamí Mixon (Brad) and the late Matthew J. Leonard. Great grandmother of Frederick Samuelson and Charlie Mixon. Step-Grandmother to Damien Dietrich (Tami), Nicole Eiselen (Jeffery) and Step-Great Grandmother to Dawson Dietrich, Amelia Dietrich and Chloe Eiselen.
Mrs. Schwartz was very active in her community of St. Tammany Parish. She belonged to the St. Tammany Parish Hospital Guild "Pink Ladies" and was a member of Kaycetts. Also, she was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6793 and a member of St. Peters Catholic Church Altar Society. Mrs. Schwartz retired from the Jefferson Parish Clerk of Court Office.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.
