Marian S. Macintosh Kimball, 89, passed away Aug. 6, 2010. She was born Sept. 16, 1920 in Elmira, N.Y. to Peter O. Sutphen III and Hazel F. Brewer. After graduating from Mount Holyoke College in Mass, she married Richard A. Macintosh (Mac). They lived in Pa. then N.J. where Marian joined the LDS Church in 1958. After raising 2 children in Livingston, N.J., they moved to Santa Barbara, Ca. where Mac joined the LDS church. They were sealed in the L.A. Temple in 1976. Mac preceded her in death on Dec. 28. 1979. Marian married Victor Kimball in 1981. They moved to S.L.C. where Victor died in 1991.
Marian had a friendly personality and a positive, caring attitude. She loved decorating her homes, entertaining, and dressing well.
Marian is survived by her 2 children, Larry Macintosh (Shirley), and Leanna (Roy) Griffiths, 9 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S. Highland Dr. on Mon. Aug 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM., with a viewing one hour prior to services. Entombment services follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
