Marian Winifred Hulvey, 75, of Little Rock, died October 29, 2011 in Wooster, Arkansas Born November 9, 1935 in Little Rock, she was the daughter of Hershel and Verdi Oliver Horton. A retired insurance secretary, she played piano and organ for many years at the First Church of God in Little Rock, and later served as music director for Ivy Chapel Christian Church. She enjoyed her grandson and reading.
Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Cyndi Dillion and her husband Ross, of Wooster, a brother, Ray Horton and his wife Claudia, of Monticello, Arkansas and her grandson, Drew Dillion.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St. Little Rock (501) 661-9111. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR 72210.
