Marianne Clancy ( nee Battiston ), 71, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at her home in North Arlington. Born in Passaic, she lived in East Rutherford and Carlstadt before moving to North Arlington 41 years ago. She worked as a crossing guard for the Borough of North Arlington for 25 years before retiring 6 years ago. She was the beloved wife of Roderick Clancy , the devoted mother of Coleen Glasser and her husband Dean and Brian Clancy and his wife Charlotte, the cherished grandmother of Sutton and Sienna and the dear sister of Judith Manzo and her husband Nicholas, Josephine Jansma and her husband Ted, Bernadette Farina and her husband John and the late William Battiston. Funeral from the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington on Monday, July 8th at 10:15 a.m. thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 11:15 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. The family will receive friends on Sunday 2-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to Valley Hospice 223 North Van Dien Ave., Ridgewood, N.J. 07450.
